Bye-bye Early Intervention

This morning our Elspeth was officially discontinued from Early Intervention.  Apparently she has moved from mildly delayed to on target for all areas with the exception of fine motor where she is above average.  So excited.  Loved our Early Interventionists but have to admit that I am glad we are done. Yippee!!!

  1. I’m catching up! Oh such good news! Sadly, our EI started charging. So it’s just not in the budget. When Mazie turns 3, we’ll try again as the program if different and free at that age.
She is SO growing! Love the smile!

  2. That is rough. From the photos she looks like she is active and healthy. Maybe she won’t need it by 3. We are still waiting for our final speech assessment so we are not completely out of the woods yet. I will pray that when you have Maize re-assessed that she is so wonderfully average, or above average, that she isn’t picked up.
She is looking healthier isn’t she? Maybe becasue she finally has some muscle. Fell back off the growth curve but hey, can’t win them all. Perhaps all of the Halloween candy will push back into the 3rd percentile. One can only hope. Do you think that candy will also positively affect hair growth? Getting envious of Maize and Natalie’s glorious heads of hair.
